Layout Squares

A Layout Square or Speed Square is a triangle shaped measuring and marking tool.

It is very useful not only for marking straight line for end cuts but also for marking angles. 

It is a handy tool as it can be used as a saw guide in making crosscuts or mitre cuts in lumbar.

Layout squares come in aluminum, steel, or resin. A sturdy steel square is durable, lasts longer and provides better precision.
